Goodbye to Kindergarten

Well today was our big day. Kaitlyn graduated from Kindergarten. What a special day. As you can see she was beautiful in her new graduation dress and corsage(i bought it for her for her special day). She handled it much better than we did. We actually did better than you would expect and did not really shed any tears through the cermony. The tears did not come until we went back to her classroom and her teacher who was really great played a mini-movie she made out of pictures that she had taken throughout the year. I looked over and Kristena was very emotional and that only made me cry more. It was a really special moment and Kaitlyn's teacher made copies of the movie for all of the parents. Tomorrow is actually her last day of class but they are only going a half day then summer begins. Where does time go? It seems like yesterday we were deciding between moving to Florida or moving to Texas. When we got here we were told that school start in less than 6 weeks and that we need to have an address in the school district we want her to attend and so that hunt began. We bought a house and moved in and then less than two weeks later she started school. Then she was moved out of her class into a new one with a teacher we did not know. We were mad and now at the end of the year we could not have imaged a better scenario. Mrs. Jarriel showed such compassion and such patience with Kaitlyn and she has just matured so much I can hardly believe it. Kristena was one of the room mom's and she got to be a part of Kaitlyn's first school experience and really loved it. So if you have the chance help out as much as possible.

Well I would like to tell you that there is something hilarious tripping around the dark parts of my mind but there isn't. Actually we are watching Dateline NBC about these awful men who show up to have sex with kids. I wonder what these people think about. I wish I could be there as the enter the pearly gates and explain that to Saint Peter. Well I was just going over there to talk. I imagine Peter telling him that he probably won't need that sweater he brought with him.

Congratulations KAITLYN!!! We all love you and are so proud of you. It sounds like you have daddy whipped so if you work on him real hard you might just convince him to get you that trampoline you wanted last year. He seems like he will do anything for you! Daddy...You surprise me every time I read your blog. I am so glad today was not about butt picking. Thanks for always making me laugh. Your sis, Kim

I am sitting here proudly reading your blog after reading your sister's new blog.

The smile will be frozen in place. You both have matured into quite facinating adults and responsible parents.

I know the pride you feel for your children, been there did that and still do.

I am glad you share these insightful moments with others and me.

Love
Mom

John- what a beautiful little girl. Breathtaking! Funny how life becomes so much about your precious little ones. Even when they're not so little anymore!
