Well I am back. I have started three other entries and can not get them to a point that I like. I have somehow taken this on as a job and I want to make sure that each entry offers something funny. So I guess I have had "blog block"as I would not call writing these entries as true writing especially the way I do it. So this is just rambling thoughts I may not even spell check it.
For those of you who keep tabs Tyler just turned 2. Yep that's right the little man is now old enough to tell us "no" but too young to get into too much trouble for it. Everyday offers new changes, new words, new facial expressions and always more laughs. First thing you need to know is he is daddy's little clone. He looks like me and often times acts like me. His new phrase today is "that's not good". He will just walked up to you as you are doing something and say "that's not good". He also has the best little fake laugh. If you say something and everyone laughs and he does not get it he tilts his little head back and gives you his best fake laugh. He is developing so fast and is like a little sponge. I attribute that to my wife. Kristena has been a great stay at home mom, she reads and talks to him. They play and she is his best friend. He loves to "nuggle" with mommy in the morning when he drinks his milk. This morning he walked into our bedroom after I got his diaper changed and slammed his hand down on the bed and said "mama get up". That didn't happen so he got in bed with her and nuggled there. I never really appreciated all it takes to be a stay at home mom and it is difficult at times but I am so glad that we have been so blessed so that Kristena can stay with Kaitlyn and him during these all important times.
Life at work is full of change as well. While Tyler was in the hospital my boss at work(not to be confused with my boss at home, love you honey) "resigned". Kristena has tried to resign a couple of times but I will not let her! Not sure why he resigned for sure but he was a very nice man and if you get a chance say a little prayer it will all work out for him. So now I report to the same person I use to work for in Texas. It is really a small world especially if you are 300+ pound man in a airplane bathroom. Now that is small. Better hope you don't need to wipe anything!! But for those around you at least give it your best shot!
My mom and grandpa were here for Tyler's birthday party on Friday. My grandma was too sick to come. I personally think that after one day of having my mom at her house she needed some quiet time and played hooky(sp?). Tyler and Kaitlyn loved it. We had a big day. We went to Kaitlyn's school and had lunch, then had a cookout, Tyler got to open his gifts then we took off and went to Kaitlyn's soccer game and Kaitlyn's team won for only the second time this season! Tyler calls my grandpa "papa" and my mom "mimi" and my grandma "ma" now every old couple where the man is bald in the back and the woman has that football helmet hair he calls them "mapapa". He is always disappointed when he realizes that is not really them. He would spend all of his time with them if we would let him. I guess that is just the way it was for me when I was little. All day today everytime we saw a mini-van like theirs he would yell out "mapapa".
The highlight of Kristena's day was getting to show off "George" and her stockpile. For those of you who have not heard of "George" he is her coupon holder. George is no ordinary coupon holder he is a three inch three ring binder loaded to the hilt with coupons. He weights almost enough that we may have to buy a diesel pick-up truck in order to get him to and from the store. What started as a way to get our grocery bill down a little has now become a mission to get as much stuff for free as possible. George has multiple sections and is extremely organized just like she is. She is a whiz at it and we now have enough cereal and toothpaste to get us thru until the rapture. We have so much cereal that we have to write the expiration dates in a big black marker on the side of the box so that we eat it all before it expires. The other day our bug service company came to re-treat(we spotted a couple of ants that were probably running from all of the chemicals in the yard) and the bug guy opened our pantry and looked at Kristena and says"Wow, you number your cereal". It is quite overwhelming when a box is empty to know what to open next. The biggest excitement in our house is when we run out of something and get to "shop" in the pantry for its replacement. The things that get exciting after you are married and have kids!!!!
Well I guess that is it for now. I wanted to tell my cousin's Holly and Kelley thanks for the pictures of Andrea's wedding they were awesome. Holly your kids a beautiful! Almost as cute as ours : ) Stay tuned for the next few maybe I will finish the other two sometime this weekend and post those at some point. To my mother in law, know you are in our thoughts and prayers! We love you! Same to the rest of you! And Scooter hugs and kisses from Biggy J!!!!

Glad you liked the pics! The coupon thing cracks me up. We've tried it here, but West Mich. is a bit of an anomoly, NO ONE does double coupons. I mean, NO ONE. Bunch of stingy Dutch people (of which I am one!) I'd love to hear some of your wife's suggestions, though.
John,
Enjoyed today's blog! You seriously need to start posting pictures. I need to be able to see these adorable children. Tyler will be grown before I get to see him again! Love ya!
Dear son,
I do not cause stress for Grandma. I have been perfectly social and have only displaced them out of their room and take up space. It has cooled off nicely and God heard my prayers to let it stay cool till my plane leaves the ground. Enjoyed the day with the little ones and you two big ones. For everyone out there only seeing George can you appreciate my daughter in laws incredible organization. If you ever need to make a personal change call Kristena. You can be a red head or any color you like. It is a virtual variety store. She is a great daughter.
Your mom
